Unlike orders from you standard menu, Catering Orders are not auto-accepted. Catering orders are sent via email and SMS Text messaging to restaurants, and require you to accept the order. Once the order is accepted, we will then assign your pre-determined driver to the order which is sent via SMS Text message. This driver assignment can be changed anytime on your Loyal Dashboard.
The Loyal Catering Marketplace is a B2B Catering site exclusively for Hospitals, Universities, Healthcare Reps, and other Local Businesses who are higher volume Catering Customers. It was designed to solve some unique challenges these institutions face when it comes to facilitating the transaction. Sometimes the employee placing the order isn't from the same dept as the person paying for the order, and more often than not, they will require an invoice in order for a payment to be made, sometimes weeks later.
Once we approve an Institution on our Marketplace, they can place orders with your restaurant and they can choose to pay online or pay by invoice. We automatically generate these invoices and email them to the Institution so there's no paperwork for Restaurants. Once you accept the order and fulfill the order, Loyal will advance you the full amount of the invoice within 2 business days of fulfillment. The invoice is instructed to refund us back directly, making your Restaurants Catering business extremely efficient.
Loyal Catering is commission free for all Loyal Restaurants and Institutions. Restaurants who are not subscribed to one of our other services will be charged a commission for each order. See our Pricing page for details.
